Lion Slide Falls (a.k.a Hatchet Falls due to the location – Hatchet creek) The falls are just a 40 minutes drive north east from the City of Redding (Sacramento Valley – North of California, USA). Lion Slide Falls are a popular spot both for swimming & cliff jumping, it is about 12 meters tall (40 feet ) Lion Slide Falls are divided right in the middle by a massive dead tree trunk which serves as a fun staircase from which many climb and jump to the cool waters.
